The company is managed by Walter Coolidge, Chairman and Gerald M. Gates, President.

Walter came to American Stop Loss in 1990, initially in sales, and became President of the Company in 1994. He was made Chairman in 2005. Prior to his work at ASL, Walter enjoyed a highly successful 20-year career in the electronics industry.

Gerry joined American Stop Loss in 2002. Prior to that he held senior strategy and marketing management positions over an 18-year period at UMassMemorial Health Care, the Provident Insurance Companies and the Paul Revere Corporation. He was elected President of the firm in 2005.
